Creedence Clearwater Revival was an American rock band. They played under that name from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. They had played together with different band names since 1959.
Two brothers, John Fogerty and Tom Fogerty were the core of the band. The bass player was Stu Cook and the drummer was Doug Clifford.
They had many different musical styles. Their main style was United States Southern rock style.
They were in the famous Woodstock Festival in New York state in 1969.
