King Kong

King Kong is a horror movie. It was released to theatres in 1933, and received positive reviews. The movie stars Fay Wray, Bruce Cabot, and Robert Armstrong.

The movie is about a gigantic, island-dwelling ape called Kong. He falls in love with a beautiful white woman, and dies in an attempt to possess her.

In 1991, the Library of Congress selected King Kong for preservation in the National Film Registry. It has been remade twice: in 1976 and in 2005.
