Lake Superior is one of the Great Lakes of North America. It is the largest freshwater lake in the world. The Canada–United States border goes through the lake.
Lake Superior is bounded by Ontario to the north and east, Michigan to the south, Wisconsin to the southwest, and Minnesota to the west.
Major cities on the shore of the lake include Thunder Bay, Ontario and Duluth, Minnesota.
