Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898)

Charles Ludwidge Dodgson was a British writer. He is best known under his pen name Lewis Carroll. He was born on 27 January 1832 at Daresbury, Cheshire, England. He died on 14 January 1898 (aged 65) Guildford, Surrey, England.

Carroll wrote several fantasy novels including Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. His nonsense poems include "Jabberwocky", "The Walrus and the Carpenter", and "Father William".
