New World porcupine

New World porcupines are animals of the family Erethizontidae; they are called porcupines, but they are not closely related to the other ones, Old World porcupines, which live in Europe, Africa and Asia.

New World porcupines lives only in South and North America. They are arboreal rodents, with large spines on the back.
