Aurora streaks the tranquil skies,With gleams of golden light;And every sable vapour flies,That shrouds the sullen night:But see! a dew-drop bathes the Rose,And glistens on the thorn—'Tis Nature's tear, that sweetly flowsFor Joy to meet the morn.
