The vase, No. 100, is peculiar for the long pointed owl's beak and the well-indicated closed eyelids; only two female breasts are indicated, and no vulva. The neck of the vase, which is very long and cylindrical, is ornamented with three incised circular lines, meant possibly to represent necklaces. The rim of the orifice is turned over; the bottom is flat; two long upright projections indicate the wings.
On the vase No. 101 the eyes are large and protruding; the ears are not indicated; the beak is but small and on a level with the eyes; just below it is a small round groove, in the centre of which is a minute perforation; probably this is meant to represent the mouth; the two female breasts and the vulva are very large and conspicuous; the latter is peculiarly interesting on account of the incised 卍 with which it is ornamented, and which seems to corro-
