No. 1.—Fragment of a lustrous black Bowl, with an incised decoration filled with white chalk. (Size 12, about. Depth, 15 m)
No. 1 is a rim-fragment of a large bowl, on which are distinctly incised two lentiform eyes with brows, probably meant for human eyes; to the right and left are two parallel strokes; below, a zigzag line; just above the eyes the rim forms a semicircle.

No. 2 is a similar fragment of a bowl-rim, on which we see a very curious incised ornamentation resembling an owl's face in monogram; the eyes are particularly large; the
