Sweet showers of blossomSlowly descendingSink on earth's bosom,With sweet flowers blending.Warm gales o'er the meadowsWaft the rivulets' voices;In the early leaves' shadowsThe shrill bird rejoices.
Oh think mid the bliss of the sunny spring weather,How the wintry hours smiled when we pass'd them together!
