Poems (Toke)/Psalm XCIII

PSALM XCIII.
WITH power the Lord returns to reign,In glory clad, with strength arrayed:A King He comes to earth again,To reign o'er all that He hath made.
Oh, God! Thou form'dst this world to last,Unmoved by time in every part;Thy throne was fixed in ages past,And Thou from everlasting art.
The floods have raised their voice, O Lord,And dashed their foaming waves on high:But Thou art mightier far; Thy wordCan calm the deep and still the sea.
Yea, far above all mortal power,Thy throne is in eternity!Thy promise stands for ever sure,And holiness belongs to Thee.
