SAINT PHILIP AND SAINT JAMES'S DAY.
O FATHER! whom in truth to know Is evermore to live,On us that choicest gift bestow, That blesséd knowledge give.
O Christ! the true and living Way, That leads alone to God,Help us to follow, day by day, That path Thou first hast trod.
O blesséd Spirit! only Thou In truth canst guide us still;Be near us, teach us, help us now To do Thy holy will.
Lead us along the narrow road By saints and martyrs trod,Till reached at last their blessed abode, The City of our God.
