EASTER.
Let me arise, O Savior,As Thou arisen art,And let me plead Thy favorFor this my waiting heart.
From out this worldly prison,Its care and sin set free,In the sweet Christ arisenMy soul at peace would be.
Oh let me feel Thee guiding,And help me to press on,With faith in thee confidingUntil the end be won.
And when for me at evenThe curtains shall be drawnO grant that in Thy HeavenI greet an Easter morn!
