The wicked are not so, but as the chaff which the wind shall push.

As the chaff

A language of straw; come bale in the foreign language.

Ibn Ezra

As the chaff

The fine [chaff] from the straw; as the chaff that is driven with the wind out of the threshing-floor (Hoshea 13:3). And behold, the soul of the righteous is likened to the grain that stands, and the wicked are like the straw before the wind.
