Beeston is a small town in Nottinghamshire, England near Nottingham.

Get into Nottingham and out as far as Hucknall or Toton Lane with frequent trams. There are multiple tram stops in the area.

Frequent buses run to and from Nottingham city centre, Long Eaton, and Derby.

🌍 Beeston railway station. On the Midland Main Line. Platform 1 to the north for trains towards Nottingham and Lincoln; and platform 2 to the south for trains towards London, Leicester, Birmingham and Derby.

The best way to explore Beeston is on foot, as it is quite a small town with a pedestrianised high street.

🌍 Canalside Heritage Centre, Weir Cottages, NG9 1LZ, ☏ +44 115 922-1773. 9.30am-4.00pm. Canalside Heritage Centre Charitable Trust renovated and restored the weir cottages at Beeston Lock into sustainable use as a heritage, education and arts centre.

Beeston has close links with the University of Nottingham and has a thriving student community.
