Eastern Andino is a sub-region of the Andino region of Colombia. It is composed of three departments:

  • Cesar
  • Norte de Santander
  • Santander

Cesar:

  • 🌍 Valledupar – the greenest city in Colombia, the birthplace of Vallenato music

Norte de Santander:

  • 🌍 Cúcuta – a major commercial hub
  • 🌍 Pamplona – a college town with many museums and bars and a cool climate

Santander:

  • 🌍 Bucaramanga – a major commercial hub surrounded by beautiful landscapes and ancient towns with a lot of history
  • 🌍 Barichara – one of the best preserved and most beautiful colonial villages in Colombia
  • 🌍 Girón – famous for its colonial downtown
  • 🌍 San Gil – Colombia's adventure sport capital
