Pegnitz

Pegnitz is a town of some 14,000 people (2023) in Upper Franconia. The entire preserved inner city centre is a listed building, including the medieval town hall from 1347.

Pegnitz shares its name with the river which originates here and flows through Nuremberg before joining with the Rednitz in Fürth to form the Regnitz, which ultimately flows into the Main river.
