Ruijin
Ruijin(瑞金) City is located in the southeast of Jiangxi Province, under the jurisdiction of Ganzhou. It lies between the Wuyi Mountains and the Nanling Mountains, bordering Fujian to the east and Guangdong to the south. With its unique location, Ruijin serves as an important transportation hub connecting Jiangxi, Fujian and Guangdong. Ruijin is famous for its long history, profound cultural heritage, and its special status as the “Cradle of the Republic” and the “Red Capital.”

Understand
Ruijin (瑞金市) is a small city in southeastern China in Jiangxi Province. It was the site of Mao Zedong's guerrilla insurgency from 1930–1934, and it is here that the Long March began in 1934. The many sites from this period constitute the main tourist draw. At a quick glance on a map, Ruijin looks like it is near the huge Ganzhou metropolitan area, but the town is very much a backwater isolated by mountains.

Township area
- Ruilin Town:Ruilin Town is located in the northwest of Ruijin City. It is mainly engaged in agriculture, planting rice, rapeseed and citrus. At the same time, it develops rural tourism based on its rich natural landscape and red cultural resources.
- Rentian Town:Rentian Town is an important township in Ruijin City. It has a solid agricultural foundation and develops specialty forestry and fruit and small-scale processing industries. It has an active economy and pleasant rural landscape.
History
Ruijin has a long and remarkable history, best known as the birthplace of the Chinese Soviet Republic in 1931, when the Provisional Central Government was established here, making it the first “Red Capital” of the revolution. It later became the starting point of the Long March in 1934, earning Ruijin the title of the “Cradle of the Republic” and securing its important place in modern Chinese history.
Climate
Ruijin has a subtropical monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons and abundant rainfall. Spring is warm and wet, while summer is hot, humid, and often experiences heavy showers.
Autumn in Ruijin is generally mild and sunny, with comfortable temperatures and lower humidity, making it the most pleasant season of the year. Winter is short and relatively mild, with rare frost or snow.
The city enjoys sufficient sunshine and a long frost-free period, creating favorable conditions for agriculture and lush natural vegetation. Its climate also supports a variety of outdoor activities and eco-tourism throughout the year.

Ruijin Rice Wine(瑞金米酒 ),A traditional Chinese rice wine named after Ruijin City in Jiangxi Province. This type of rice wine is typically crafted using high-quality rice as the primary ingredient and undergoes fermentation and distillation.
Ruijin Beaten Tea(瑞金擂茶)The process of making Ruijin pounded tea typically involves grinding ingredients such as tea leaves, peanuts, and sesame into powder, which is then mixed together. The resulting powder is stored in powdered form, and during preparation, it can be steeped in hot water. Additionally, various seasonings such as salt, sugar, and oil can be added according to personal taste preferences. In some places, the pounded tea powder is also sprinkled on rice or noodles for consumption.

Ganzhou is an hour away by train, Xiamen 5 hours. The Southern Jiangxi region is full of Red historical sites, so Ruijin makes a good base.
