Schoonhoven

Schoonhoven is a small town in the Dutch province of South Holland.

Formerly the town was famous for its silver, hence its nickname Zilverstad ("Silver City"). The town is well worth visiting because of its many well-preserved medieval buildings.

Walking or using a bike is the easiest way to travel in Schoonhoven. Distances are short, and everything is close to wherever you are.
