Etymology

From Proto-Indo-Iranian *kúwa, from Proto-Indo-European *kúw-o ~ *kw-ó. Cognate with Younger Avestan 𐬐𐬎𐬎𐬀 (kuua, where? whither?) and Latin quō.[1] See also कु (ku).
