      Hotondo wa Marukosu zendaitōryō ga shikkyaku, harau hitsuyō ga nakunatta no ni shiharatta yō ni yosōtteita mono da ga, honrai no seikaku wa taihi torihiki ni karamu komisshon (tesūryō) ya wairo-sei no koi ribēto datta.
      Most of the payments, made after former president Marcos was deposed, were made to appear as though they were still owed, but their true nature was commissions (handling fees) or rebates with an appearance of bribery.
