Suffix

-će (Cyrillic spelling -ће)

  1. Suffix appended to verb roots to create a neuter verbal noun denoting an action or the result of an action. Used for verbs with a passive participle ending in -t.
    dostignuti (“to catch up, to reach”) → dostignut (passive participle) → dostignuće (“(the act of) catching up, reaching”)
