-vuldig
Dutch
Etymology
From eastern dialects, perhaps especially Brabantian. The /ʏ/-vowel is from umlaut of Middle Dutch -voldich. Since the o here goes back to West Germanic *a, probably through analogical alteration of -veldich, which is attested in Limburgish texts. Compare German -fältig.
