Akin to *lohkët'ak, perhaps by replacing the suffix with *-ait'ak by analogy with verbs like *avait'ak, *hauk'ait'ak, *rabait'ak and *viskait'ak, or derived directly from the same root as *lohkët'ak with that suffix.
