Reconstruction:Proto-Tsezian/ħɔre
Proto-Tsezian
Etymology
Cognate with Proto-Avaro-Andian *ħarHi (“eye”).
Reconstruction notes
The proto-form of the West Tsezian is reconstructed as *ʔözʷǝʀ[ə]. Apparently, this is a contamination of a former direct stem *ʔöʀ[ə], cf. East Tsezian *hare, and oblique stem *ʔözʷe-. In this way it is possible to reconstruct the second oblique stem for Proto-Tsezian *ħɔzʷe-.
