ar feadh (plus genitive or possessive determiner, triggers no mutation)

  1. for (over a period of time)
    ar feadh trí láfor three days
    ar feadh tamaill, ar feadh píosafor a while
  2. during
    ar feadh an laeduring the day

Inflection

For semantic reasons, only third-person possessive determiners are found with this preposition:

  • ar a fheadh (for/during it m)
  • ar a feadh (for/during it f)
  • ar a bhfeadh (for/during them)
