The Democratic Republic of the Congo is a country in central Africa. The capital and largest city is Kinshasa.
The country is bordered by the Central African Republic to the north; South Sudan to the northeast; Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and Tanzania to the east; Zambia to the southeast; Angola to the southwest; and the Atlantic Ocean and the Republic of the Congo to the west.
