Slovak winery regions

An agreement signed in June 2004 ended a conflict between Hungary and Slovakia, allowing winemakers on 907 hectares in seven Slovak villages to manufacture Tokaj wine following the same quality standards issued by Hungary in 1990.

Get in

There are two train stations on the line between Košice and Čierna nad Tisou, with a train in each directions every 2 hours. Trains from Budapest and Miskolc terminate in Sátoraljaújhely.
