     At that time, Her Majesty the Queen Mother weeps and wails as if to die. She, the queen, then says: "Lo the beautiful son of mine, I do love you. I do love you more than my own eyes and body. I do love you even more than my own head and life."

     As for Her Majesty Tārāvatī the Queen Mother, upon learning the news...she then proceeds in a palanquin, with a great many people following her till reaching the palace of the two princesses.

     At that time, the fervent servant found the stated stratagems beneficial. So whatever His Majesty declared to him he committed to his memory clearly. Thereupon he departed to Chiang Chuen with dispatch as commanded by the royal edict. There he demonstrated to them whatever trick or tactic that he found excellent.
