Etymology

    From Proto-Indo-European *h₂éws-r̥-h₂ ~ *h₂us-r-és, from *h₂ews- (dawn; to dawn).[1][2] Cognate with Sanskrit उस्रा (usrā́, dawn, morning), Ancient Greek αὔρᾱ (aúrā, morning air), and perhaps further Proto-Germanic *Austrǭ (Easter), and Albanian err (darkness).
