    Reconstruction notes

    Mello mistakenly reconstructs the protoform as *ɨβɨr, based on a misinterpretation of Old Tupi ybyrá as *ybyr. Yet, he reconstructs the correct *ɨβɨra in number 717, with the gloss “(litte) stick”.[2]
