Stockholm Archipelago Trail/Getting in

The ferry transports in Stockholm Archipelago are designed around some strategically important junctions for public transport and freight traffic between core islands, municipal centers, and the central region. This design is not a perfect match with Stockholm Archipelago Trail so below is a try to help you find the correct ferry stop to start your trip to a SAT section. At the end of June, a ferry service called "Nord/Syd-linjen" (English: North/South ferry line) will be available to assist travelers. The service is expected to operate from Monday, June 23, 2025, until Sunday, August 17, 2025.

For reference, an older article about Nord/Sydlinjen can be found here: Nord/Sydlinjen.

Below a list of ferry stops that can be a good starting point for traveling to a specific Stockholm Archipelago Trail section.
